Hook Generator Pro ("we", "our", or "the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that provides text formatting tools and AI-powered hook generation for LinkedIn posts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
1. Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Email address - Used to identify your account
- Name - Displayed in the extension
- Profile picture - Displayed in the extension
- Google User ID - Used internally to link your account
We do NOT have access to your Google password or other Google account data.
2. Usage Data
We collect:
- Daily hook generation count - To enforce free tier limits
- Subscription status - To determine your plan (Free or Pro)
- Device fingerprint - To prevent abuse (hashed, not personally identifiable)
3. Content You Provide
When using AI hook generation:
- Topics you enter - Sent to our AI service to generate hooks
- Topics are NOT stored permanently after generation
- We do NOT read or store your LinkedIn posts
4. Payment Information
If you upgrade to Pro:
- Payments are processed by Stripe
- We do NOT store credit card numbers
- Stripe provides us only with: subscription status, payment date, and last 4 digits of card

Your data may be processed in data centers globally, including locations outside your country of residence. We use:
- Cloudflare (API hosting) - Global edge network
- Cloudflare Workers AI - AI processing (global)
- Stripe (payments) - United States
- Google (authentication) - Global
